Our A/C diagnosis, service and repair may include:
- A/C Performance Test – Check vent temperature, airflow and overall system performance to determine whether the system is cooling properly.
- Refrigerant Level & Pressure Check – Test high- and low-side system pressures and check refrigerant charge when appropriate.
- A/C Leak Detection – Inspect the system for refrigerant leaks using appropriate diagnostic equipment and methods.
- A/C Compressor Inspection & Replacement – Check compressor operation, clutch or control system, noise and performance and replace failed components when necessary.
- Condenser Inspection & Repair – Inspect the condenser for leaks, damage, blockage or restricted airflow.
- Evaporator Inspection & Repair – Diagnose evaporator leaks, restrictions and other problems that can affect cooling performance.
- Expansion Valve / Orifice Tube – Inspect and replace refrigerant metering components when a restriction or failure is identified.
- Receiver-Drier / Accumulator Service – Inspect and replace these components when required as part of an A/C system repair.
- A/C Hoses, Lines & Seals – Inspect refrigerant hoses, connections, O-rings and seals for leaks or damage.
- Cooling Fan Operation – Check electric cooling fans and related controls because improper fan operation can reduce A/C performance.
- Blower Motor & Resistor/Control Module – Diagnose weak, intermittent or inoperative cabin airflow.
- Climate-Control Diagnostics – Diagnose control panels, switches, temperature sensors, relays, fuses and electronic climate-control components.
- Blend & Mode Door Actuators – Check actuators and doors responsible for controlling temperature and directing airflow through the vents.
- Cabin Air Filter Inspection – Inspect for excessive dirt or restriction that can reduce airflow through the HVAC system.
- Electrical Diagnosis – Check A/C-related wiring, connectors, sensors, pressure switches and control circuits.
- System Evacuation & Recharge – When required, properly recover refrigerant, evacuate the system and recharge it with the manufacturer-specified type and quantity of refrigerant.
- Final Performance Test – Verify vent temperature, system pressures, compressor operation and proper climate-control function after repairs.
Our goal is to diagnose the cause of the A/C problem before replacing parts or simply adding refrigerant. A low refrigerant charge often indicates a leak, so the source of the problem should be identified whenever possible.
Once diagnosed, we recommend the appropriate repair—from a refrigerant recharge or leaking seal replacement to compressor, condenser, evaporator, blower motor or climate-control repairs—to restore proper cooling and comfortable cabin temperatures.
